Dan Cooper


The backbone of our company and success, Dan has been helping families buy and sell homes since 1991. He’s closed over 4,400 transactions totaling more than $2.2 billion, been ranked #1 nationally seven times and was inducted into the Royal LePage Hall of Fame in 2019. Not bad for a man whose first venture was a pharmaceutical sales gig that, unsurprisingly, also saw him do well.

Sales is, after all, in the Wilfrid Laurier alum’s blood. But so is working with and helping people, hence his shift to real estate. Dan thrives on the connections he forms with his clients and making their real estate goals and dreams a reality is his top priority.

Aside from the well-pressed suit and polished cut, Dan is anything but your typical businessman. In the end, Dan is that community guy who is in his element when he’s helping out (or running a marathon in the rain). He supports a slew of local charities too including Big Brothers Big Sisters of Halton, Sick Kids Foundation, Easter Seals Canada, Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts and the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation.

And if he had to choose between working from his office or the sunlit deck of his cottage in Muskoka, he’d opt for the latter.

A connoisseur of great design, bold architecture and even bolder coffee, Dan is something of a renaissance man with a handful of impressive skills to his credit: “I can cook, play guitar, make a mean old-fashioned and believe it or not water-ski barefoot.”

A long term Oakville resident, Kathy loves all things design. Her passion for beautiful homes has taken her from design and staging to real estate. A Business graduate from Humber College, Kathy is a certified re-design and home staging specialist as well as an active member of the Canadian Re-Designers Association. Her flair for bringing out a home’s natural characteristics has helped her clients achieve maximum results. What Kathy loves most about her work is providing a thorough home evaluation and then staging the home to showcase its unique features. When not at work Kathy can be found at home with her two teenaged daughters whipping up delicious fare in the kitchen. A true nature lover, Kathy also enjoys personal training, hiking and canoeing.

Mike Castiglione

A former big-bank lender, Mike can take complex financial numbers and scenarios and translate them into simple concepts anyone can understand. His tenacity has served him well in his five-plus years as an agent, having successfully closed more than 100 transactions and has many happy clients. Mike is constantly improving his knowledge on stress testing, cash-flow loans for high net-worth individuals, foreign buyers and how it all relates to buying and selling in your local marketplace. Susan has been Team Manager at the Dan Cooper Group for more than 19 years, which is a testament to her loyalty and dedication. Susan is the central person everything runs through at the office, overseeing the day-to-day operations with a keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills and outstanding customer service. It’s a good thing she has a great memory for names since many clients return to us over the years as they move onto their next home and chapter. Customer service is a huge part of what she does and her warm, calm and personable approach makes her popular with both clients and colleagues. Susan enjoys Sudoku, roller skating, movies and books and resides in River Oaks with her daughter.

Tom Keith

As master of marketing, Tom brings a millennial marketing perspective to an industry that is constantly changing. What’s more, he’s incredibly tech savvy, with a Computer Science degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, Dan’s alma mater. Analytics and statistics are basically his second language. In his downtime, Tom can be found at the dog park with Luna, his adorable Border Collie, gaming, watching movies and testing his vast knowledge with trivia. Tom is a native of Burlington who enjoys exploring what’s new and exciting in his home town.
