We will bowl alongside Kevin Flynn to raise money for this most worthwhile organization.

Big-Brothers-Big-Sisters-of-Halton-and-HamiltonBig Brothers Big Sisters is a child and youth mentoring program. Their mission is to help kids in need make healthy life choices through positive mentoring relationships. Donations are not the only way to support BBBS Halton and Hamilton, the program is built upon people generously giving their time. Fundraisers held throughout the year give Big Brothers Big Sisters the means to provide inspirational and educational experiences for their members.

Please join us in supporting this most worthwhile cause by donating here.

From school fun fairs, The Boat Rally for Kids with Cancer, The Royal LePage Shelter Foundation and The Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts we are constantly giving back and supporting our local communities.

We truly value our relationships with our clients and enjoy supporting the causes that matter most to them. Being a part of something bigger than yourself and your business is why we are all here. We are looking forward to continuing to be a part of our community and causes in 2019!

3rd Annual Snapd Oakville Charity Golf Tournament

When we were approached to come on as the title sponsor for the 3rd Annual Snapd Oakville Charity Golf Tournament, we accepted right away as we strongly believe in the causes they support. The Oakville Hospital Foundation and Easter Seals Ontario are both important and worthwhile causes that contribute to our communities in significant ways and both are close to our hearts.

At the Dan Cooper Group we are philanthropists at heart and are committed to giving back to the communities in which we live.

Luke Braun was an inspiring and amazing individual. At just 20 years of age he was an ambassador for Easter Seals who attended all their events and spoke eloquently on their behalf. Easter Seals has played a significant role in the Braun’s life as both Luke and his brother Zane suffer from Morquio Syndrome, a rare condition. Sadly Luke passed away just weeks before the tournament from complications from surgery. Meeting Easter Seal kids Casey, AJ, Zane and Sydney that day was awe-inspiring for all of us.

Seeing and hearing the stories first-hand from these remarkable and resilient kids further strengthens our responsibility and has inspired us to participate further in such causes.

Noah’s Journey

On October 15th, 2015 every parent’s worst nightmare became a reality for the McIlmoyle family. 3½ year old Noah was brought to the hospital for what was thought to be the flu and instead they received the devastating news that Noah had leukemia. Leukemia is the most common cancer in children and teens, accounting for almost 1 out of 3 cancers. Noah is now convalescing at home and faces twice weekly visits to McMaster Hospital in Hamilton for intensive therapies and treatments under the watchful eye of his incredible doctors and nurses . Noah and his family have a long road ahead of them and are appealing to our community for assistance.

To help ease the financial burden on the family, a fundraising dinner is being held this Saturday, December 5th at 6:00 pm in the party room at 1160 Dorval Drive in Oakville. Tickets are $20 each and must be purchased in advance (tickets will NOT be available at the door). There is a fabulous door prize and many raffles to be won including Toronto Maple Leaf tickets, Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts concert tickets, 80 piece tool set, 50/50 draw and more! 100% of the proceeds will go directly to Noah and his family (every dollar counts for this single income family).

In the spirit of the holiday season we hope you will join us in supporting the McIlmoyle family during this very difficult time and help make this a successful event for them.
