Oakville & Burlington's Best Outdoor Markets

Summer weekends are meant for getting out of the house and making the most out of the beautiful weather. While there’s something to be said for lounging poolside or taking a trip up to the cottage, you don’t have to go very far to find somewhere new and special - Oakville and Burlington are home to some of the best outdoor markets around! From local farmers to independent vendors, these weekend stands host a welcoming, vibrant atmosphere and could be home to one of your new favourites. So trade your lounge chair for a comfy pair of flip flops and check out one (or a couple) of these excellent markets this weekend!


Oakville Civitan Farmer’s Market, Dorval Crossing East Plaza | 240 North Service Rd W, Oakville

Open Saturdays from 8am to 1:30pm, this fantastic outdoor market has been running for over 40 years and operates from May to November. With over 40 vendors carrying everything from farm-fresh produce to ethnic foods, independent brewers and roasters to florists, bakers, jewelers and local artists, you can find something that will fit everyone’s interests (and diets!).


Burlington Centre Farmer’s Market, Burlington Mall | 777 Guelph Line, Burlington

A long-time staple in the Dynes neighborhood and well-known in the Halton region, the Burlington Centre Farmer’s Market is a family favourite and welcomes local farmers and independent businesses alike to showcase their products and meet the community. This outdoor market is open from May to November, and operates on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 8am to 2pm., and you are welcome to bring your well-behaved dogs who are leashed. Vendor offerings include a wide variety of locally grown fresh produce, baking, meats, cheese, eggs and more.


Centro Market, Centro Garden | 437 Brant St, Burlington

If you’re familiar with the beautiful Centro Garden on Brant Street, you’ll love its Farmer’s Market! In its 13th season, the Centro Market has become a beloved addition to downtown Burlington’s summer scene. This market heavily focuses on local businesses, providing a stunning area for vendors to display their products. Among the fruit and veggie mix, you’ll also find florists, small-batch icecream, wineries and handcrafted kombucha. Centro Market operates on Sundays from 9am to 12pm., and parking is available in the Centro Garden parking lot.


Aldershot Farmer’s Market | 1016 Waterdown Rd, Burlington

The Aldershot Farmer’s Market is the new kid on the block this summer, having hosted its grand opening on May 25th! Showing love to local vendors, patrons can expect a variety of fresh produce, meats, cheese, eggs, prepared foods, and a rotation of food pop-ups each weekend! The market is open on Saturdays from 9am to 2pm., so be sure to stop by and check out Aldershot’s newest addition!
