Over the years the Dan Cooper Group have made an effort to involve ourselves in many different charities. One of the strongest connections we have made has been to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Halton. The Dan Cooper Group have been involved in BBBS events for over a decade and were excited to have joined them again this year for their Bowl for Kids Sake event last month.

Big Brothers Big Sisters is a child and youth mentoring program. Their mission is to help kids in need make healthy life choices through positive mentoring relationships. Donations are not the only way to support BBBS, the program is built upon people generously giving their time. Fundraisers held throughout the year give Big Brothers Big Sisters the means to provide inspirational and educational experiences for their members.

Dan and five members of the Dan Cooper Group bowled alongside Kevin Flynn to raise money for this most worthwhile organization. It was a great evening of fun and activity all to help promote awareness for Big Brothers Big Sisters. We are already looking forward to next year!

Get involved! Visit www.bbbshalton.ca to find out how.

Maybe I can’t change the world, but I can make a difference in the life of at least one child who is not my own.
